I am a PhD student in the Wilf Family Department of Politics at New York University. Prior to that, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from Renmin University of China and was a PhD student at the School of Economics, Peking University.
I study the political economy of development, with a particular focus on Chinese politics. My current research focuses on how state control, state infrastructure, political movements in communist China, and the media shape political attitudes and contentious politics. I am also exploring how these dynamics influence the state-business relationship.
